Japanese Stewartia, Stewartia psuedocamellia

An excellent medium-sized tree for all-seasons appeal. Often multi-trunked or low-branching. White flowers, similar to Camellia, appear in summer. Its deep green leaves turn blazing red, yellow and purple in the fall. Beautiful exfoliating bark in shades of orange and gray becomes more pronounced as the tree matures.

Comments: Makes a beautiful specimen or lawn tree. Great in Japanese gardens. Place where it may be viewed year round.
